The German tenor, Gerd Türk, received his first vocal training with the Limburger Domsingknaben (Boys' Choir of Limburg Cathedral). At the Frankfurt College of Music he studied church music and choir direction. After having taught at the Speyer Institute of Church Music he devoted his attention entirely to singing. He complted his training by studying Baroque singing and interpretation with René Jacobs and Richard Levitt at the Schola Cantorum Basiliensis. |
