Der helf uns zu der Engel Schar May he help us to join the company of angels Durch Jesum Christum, amen. through Jesus Christ. Amen.

	Gott macht es nicht gleichwie die Welt, God does not act like the world, Die viel verspricht und wenig hält; that promises much and keeps little; Denn was er zusagt, muss geschehen, for what he promised must happen, Dass man daran kann seine Lust und Freude sehen. so that in this we can see his delight and joy.

	Gott hilft gewiss; God’s help is certain; Wird gleich die Hilfe aufgeschoben, if for the moment his help is postponed, Wird sie doch drum nicht aufgehoben. it is not therefore cancelled. Denn Gottes Wort bezeiget dies: For God’s word makes this clear: Gott hilft gewiss! God’s help is certain!

6	Chorale [S, A, T, B]

	Die Hoffnung wart' der rechten Zeit, Hope waits for the right time for Was Gottes Wort zusaget, what God’s word promises; Wenn das geschehen soll zur Freud, when this should joyfully happen Setzt Gott kein g'wisse Tage. God sets no certain day. Er weiß wohl, wenn's am besten ist, He knows well what is best Und braucht an uns kein arge List; and uses no cunning deceit with us; Des solln wir ihm vertrauen. therefore we should trust him.
