Julian Clarkson (Baritone)

Born: England

The English baritone, Julian Clarkson, studied at the St. John College in Cambridge. Later he received a stipend which enabled him continue his studies at the Royal College of Music in London.

The main focus of Julian Clarkson’s musical career is as a concert artist. He has been a member of vocal ensembles specialising in early music, such as King's Consort and Tallis Scholars. He has also appeared as a soloist with Monteverdi Choir, La Chapelle Royale, Les Musiciens du Louvre, Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment and Florilegium. He participated in a tour of Amsterdam Baroque Orchestra to Europe and North America, in the Bach Cantata Pilgrimage with Monteverdi Choir and in the George Frideric Handel’s oratorio Susanne.
