The Swiss tenor, Nicolas Savoy, obtained first degrees in literature and aggregation at the University of Fribourg. Later he began studying singing with specialization in early music at the Schola Cantorum Basiliensis (with Gerd Türk and Dominique Vellard).
Recent graduated, Nicolas Savoy has already very busy concert schedule in Switzerland and abroad, as a singer and soloist in all fields as diverse as Gregorian chant and contemporary, jazz and vocal polyphony. He has sung with such conductors as Frieder Bernius or Tõnu Kaljuste with a repertoire of solo parts from Baroque masterpieces. |
