Recorded & filmed at St. George's Theatre London, England. Producer: Jonathan Miller (for BBC TV program).
Comment:
The first performance was recorded by Peter Nicholls (at a church in London in February 1993) at the request of Ron Gonsalves who was the producer of the performance in essence. To be more precise, the recording was of the second night's performance to be sure that any problems on the first night would have been resolved. The digital master tapes are held by Peter Nicholls who made a digital copy to a hard drive to ensure its preservation. The recording seems to be in good condition and the recorded quality is good. This is not the recording which was subsequently made under session conditions in another London church in connection with the BBC TV broadcast. Altough this recording might be of interest, it would be difficult to openly publish it due to the rights of the performers being infringed.
Info provided by Peter Nicholls, Melbourne, Australia (January 21, 2020).
