Barockorchester L’arpa festante (The Baroque Orchestra L'arpa Festante) (= BOLAF), designated after the first opera (1653), specified in Munich, was created by its concert-master and music director Michi Gaigg in the autumn 1983. The ensemble dedicates itself especially to perfomance of unknown works from the South German Baroque. The broad reportoire of the ensemble covers also the suites of the French Baroque, for which the ensemble developed a special preference, German and Italian instrumental works as well as the literature of the Classical period. L'arpa Festante cooperates with renowned conductors, singers and vocal ensembles. |
