The German choral conductor, Friedemann Keck, began his musical training in piano, organ and singing already during his school days. For 14 years he played organ in Gottesdienst, and for 17 years directed the Church Choir of the Municipality of his home town. After passing the exams, he studied first at Pädagogischen Hochschule Reutlingen (Educational University of Reutlingen). After the first service examination, he continued his studies at Kirchenmusikschule Esslingen (School of Church Music of Esslingen) and changed to the b-examination in Staatliche Hochschule für Musik und Darstellende Kunst Stuttgart (National University for Music and Performing Art Stuttgart), where he studied school music with emphasis on organ and singing and also musicology. |
