Strange Track Division in E. Kleiber JP

Yoël L. Arbeitman wrote (March 4, 2006):
This may seem an odd thing to post about. I very recently got (why not
at Berkshire prices?) the 1938 Colon Erich Kleiber Johannes-Passion on Gebhardt. After listening to it twice I am not really sure what I feel about it except that it is an historical document and, as I recall, the first recording of this work. I don't know what I feel about the whole except I can say it is not the kind of Bach I really want to return to. Some of the soli are terrific, von Pataky as evangelist and tenor. Janssen as Jesus and List as Pilate and Peter (although I am not sure who sings the two bass arias). The soprano Margarita Perkas is a treat. The alto who is the famed Karin Branzel(l) is most uninteresting to my ears.

And here to the point: CD 2, track 8 is listed as "Es ist vollbracht". It is indeed most of that aria. However the aria's end continues on track 9 which is listed as "Recitative: Und neiget das Haupt und verschied". Now indeed, after the conclusion of "Es ist vollbracht" track 9 has that recitative+ the unlisted bass aria "Mein teurer Heiland".

The sound quality is variable from pretty good to pretty not so good. If the performance moved me more, the sound quality would not be an issue nor would the odd track divisions, perhaps due to the transferring of chunks of the original sources rather than making joints or whatever.
