Unser Wandel ist im Himmel, von dannen wir auch warten des Heilandes Jesu Christi des Herrn,
welcher unsern nichtigen Leib verklaren wird, daß er ähnlich werde seinem verklarten Leibe.

Wie du mit Herr befohlen hast,
hab ich mit wahrem Glauben
mein'n lieben Heiland autgefaßt
in mein'n Arm dich zu schauen.
Gott zu bestehen, will frisch eingehen
aus dem Thränental in Freudensaal.
Laß tahren, was aut Erden,
will lieber selig werden.
Will lieber selig werden.

   
 

Wir aber sind getrost und haben vielmehr
Lust außer dem leibe zu wallen und daheim zu sein bei dem Herrn.
