The German bass, Berthold Possemeyer, studied singing at the Cologne College of Music (Professor Müller-Heuser and Professor J. Metternich) as well as studying school and church music, conducting and musicology. He was awarded prizes at the singing contests in Berlin s’Hertogenbosch and the International Bach Contest in Leipzig. Furthermore he also won the sponsorship prize for young artists awarded by the State of Nordrhein-Westfalen. |
