The Japanese harpsichordist and organist, Naoki Kitaya, learned already as a young child many different musical languages: classical and jazz, Baroque and pop, traditional Asian and Latin-American folk music. After high school, he resettled in Europe where he met the acquaintance of many musicians and received degrees from a number of highly respected music schools. His teachers included Nikolaus Harnoncourt, Johann Sonnleitner and Andreas Staier. |
