Concerto for harpsichord (solo violin), oboe, strings & continuo No. 8 in D minor, BWV 1059 or concerto for violin, strings & continuo
(reconstruction based on movements of Cantata BWV 35; may be performed as double concerto for harpsichord and oboe, or for violin and oboe, or as violin concerto (without oboe)
The concerto is an adaptation of Mvt. 1: Sinfonia, Mvt. 2: Aria (Siciliana), and Mvt. 5: Sinfonia of the Solo Cantata Geist und Seele wird verwirret, BWV 35. Based on the fragment of the composer's Concerto for harpsichord, oboe, strings & continuo No. 8 in D minor, BWV 1059.
