Hanna Wit Dolatko (Mezzo-soprano)

Born: Denmark

The Dannish mezzo-soprano, Hanna Wit Dolatko, was trained as a classical singer with a Diploma degree and academic title Master of Vocal Art at the Conservatory of Music in Gdańsk (Poland) and obtained her Music Teacher degree and Classical Diploma in Singing from the Nordjysk Musikkonservatorium (North Jutland Conservatory of Music) at Ingelise Suppli. She further studied with Helge Friss Christiansen and Helena Lazarska. She also attended courses with Andre Orlowitz, Edith Wiens, Werner Hollweg and Helena Lazarska; and Wiener Meisterkurse and Mozarteum in Salzburg. She Received grants from the Obelske Familiefond, Odd Fellow Fonden, Gudrun and Erik Kauffelds Fond. She won the Soloist Competition at the Nordjyske Musikkonservatorium.

Hanna Wit Dolatko been an assistant in the Jyske Operas Kor. In Poland she was employed in the Cappella Gedanensis - vocal and instrumental ensemble. She has recorded 3 CD's with the ensemble and has participated in tours to China, Israel, Finland, Sweden and Germany.

Hanna Wit Dolatko sings both - church, - lied, - opera and - chamber concerts in collaboration with many esteemed musicians. She has been a soloist with the Aalborg Symfoniorkester (Ari Rasilainen as conductor), Camerata Musica and part of orchestras in North Jutland with both opera, cantata and lighter repertoire as musical and operetta. She has been soloist in oratorios and masses, among others -Soloist in Niels Wilhelm Gade's Elverskud; Jan Dismas Zelenka's Magnificat; Heinrich Schütz' Musikaliche Exequiem; J.S. Bach's Magnificat BWV 243, Ein feste Burg BWV 80; John Frandsen's Reformationskantate; W.A. Mozart's Requiem; Felix Mendelssohn's Hör mein Bitten, Herr; Giovanni Battista Pergolesi's Stabat Mater. Solo concerts have taken place among othersat Wiener Saal in Mozarteum, Salzburg, Thorvaldsens Museet København in connection with official visit by Polish President Lech Walesa Dronning Margrethe on 11th Vendsyssel Festival in North Jutland's Churches, Klosterkirken, Værket Randers, Trekanten, Kunsten Aalborg Kunsmuseet in Frederikshavn, Aalborg hallen, Home Opera Vendsyssel, Festival I Cathedral in Pelplin, and other cathedrals in Poland. Bach Festival in Aalborg Budolfi Church, Utzon Center, Vienna Concerts, Christmas Concerts New Year's Concert Vendelbohus-Hjørring and Colosseum Frederikshavn… and other fantastic concert venues.

In addition to the 3 recorded CD's with Cappella Gedanensis, Hanna Wit Dolatko has recorded a solo CD "NotOnlyClassical" in collaboration with organist, arranger and composer Peter Gawol and a CD with Polish Christmas songs with String Quartet: Katarzyna Kowacz, violin Katarzyna Rogalska, violin Agnieszka Urbanek, viola and Alicja Lach Owsiany, cello
