Born: Tübingen, Germany

The German soprano, Andrea Hornung-Boesen, studied singing at the Academies of Stuttgart and Trossingen with her mother Herrad Wehrung. She completed her training with regular participation in masterclasses with Barbara Schlick, Professor Ernst Haefliger and Professor Jakob Stämpfli - et al.-, improving her technical skills in order to achieve a higher artistic level.These skills can be seen in both her teaching work and in her conduct of musical seminars.

Andrea Hornung-Boesen is a oncert singer since 1978 with international experience. She ghas performed in Switzerland, Austria, France, Great Britain, Danmark, Czech Republic, Italy, Israël as well as T.V. and Radio broadcasts. In her continuous work with renowned ensembles, she has particuliarly specialized in authentic interpretations of 17^th and 18^th century music. Furthermore, she has shown talent for performing Lieder and contemporary Music.
