I have just bought a CD called "Kathleen Battle, Grace" on the Sony label On it, it has amongst other pieces a number of Arias from Bach's Cantatas:

Seufer,Tranen,Kummer, Not, From Cantata BWV 21
Schafe konnen from cantata BWV 208
Bist du bei Mir from the Anna Magdalena notebook
Mein glaubiges Herze from cantata BWV 68

Other works are by Händel, Wolf, Mozart etc.

I would be interested to know what other members think of Kathleen Battles singing, I think she has a wonderful voice very pure and smooth. I have another CD of her with Itzhak Perlman playing Bach Arias with the Orch. of St. Luke's under John Nelson, it came out in 1992, Has anybody else heard this CD ? because I like it very much.
