Cantata BWV 74 "Wer mich liebet, der wird mein Wort halten" (Whoever loves me will keep my word) was composed by J.S. Bach in Leipzig for Whit Sunday [1st Day of Pentecost] of 1725. The cantata is scored for soprano, alto, tenor & bass soloists; 4-part Chorus; and orchestra 3 trumpets, timpani, 2 oboes, oboe da caccia, 2 violins, viola & continuo.
