Cantata BWV 184 "Erwünschtes Freudenlicht" (Longed-for light of joy) for Whit Tuesday [3rd Day of Pentecost] was composed in Leipzig in 1724. The music of this cantatas is based on BWV 184a's music and it is scored for soprano, alto & tenor soloists; 4-part Chorus; and orchestra of 2 transverse flutes, 2 violins, viola & continuo.
