Konrad Hagius (von Hagen) was a German composer. About 1589 he was musician at the court of the music-loving Elector, Johann Wilhelm, at Düsseldorf, went with the Elector Palatine to Heidelberg (c1604), was Kapellmeister at the court of the Count of Holstein-Schwanenburg, etc., and retired in 1615 as court composer to Rinteln. |
