Gottfried Galston (Arranger)

Born: 1879 - Vienna, Austria
Died: 1950 - St. Louis, Missouri, USA

The Austrian pianist, arranger and and teacher, Gottfried Galston, studied with Leschetizky, Salomon Jadassohn and Reinecke.

Gottfried Galston performed extensively throughout Europe, Australia and New Zealand, the USA, and Russia from 1900 through 1926. He moved to St. Louis, Missouri, where he taught at the St. Louis Institute of Music until his death in 1950.
