Inés Villanueva (Soprano)

Born: Tucumán, Argentina

The Argentinean soprano, Inés Cecilia Villanueva, received in 1984 a degree in piano from the Conservatory Carlos Lópes Buchardo in Buenos Aires. At the same time she took private lessons in voice. After her studies she was active in Argentina as pianist and singer in chamber music. Starting in 1990 she took voice lessons at the Hochschule der Künste in Berlin, Germany.

Since 1994 Inés Cecilia Villanueva has been a member of the world renowned RIAS-Chamber Chorus. In addition she has worked with the Ensemble Arsnova Berlin (for modern music) and active in concert and oratorio singing.
