Oleg Romanenko (Conductor)

Born: April 22, 1982 - Bryansk, Russia

The Russian conductor, Oleg Romanenko, studied at the Started School at AMU at Moscow State University named after P.I. Tchaikovsky (1999-2003). He graduate from the Moscow Conservatory. P.I. Tchaikovsky in Moscow (2003-2008); developed the art of symphonic conducting under the direction of Theodore Currentzis, worked with the MusicAeterna orchestra and the choir of New Siberian Singers.

In 2007, Oleg Romanenko created the Moscow ensemble of soloists Vocalitis, with which he successfully toured in Austria, Germany, Italy and the USA, performing Russian and European spiritual and classical choral music, recorded two CD's. Since 2007 she has collaborated with the Austrian Chamber Orchestra Louise Spohr Sinfonietta. In 2008, he created the Chamber Choir Soli Deo Gloria. Under his direction, George Frideric Handel's The Messiah, J. Haydn's The Seven Words of the Savior on the Cross, the Russian premiere of E. Sheve's the oratorio Death and Sunday, Metropolitan Hilarion Alfeyev's Matthew Passion, and J.S. Bach's Cantatas BWV 4, BWV 31, BWV 80, BWV 140, BWV 147, Johannes-Passion (BWV 245) and Magnificat (BWV 243) were heard. In 2013 he founded Collegium Musicum Ensemble, Moscow, of which he is Artistic Director. He currently lives in Moscow, Russia.
