Annemieke Rademaker (Soprano)

Born: The Netherlands

The Dutch soprano, Annemieke Rademaker, sang in her youth in various choirs. After studying at the Koninklijk Conservatorium in Den Haag (Royal Conservatory in The Hague), where she was taught by Rita Dams, she decided to continue her studies privately for a few years. Now she takes lessons at Simon Schouten.

Annemieke Rademaker is still an enthusiastic choir singer. She has sung in the Amsterdam Baroque Choir under the direction of Ton Koopman. Today she sings in the Arnold Schoenberg Chor in Vienna, especially projects with Nikolaus Harnoncourt.

Even as a soloist, Annemieke Rademaker performs regularly also as a soloist. So she has sung the bride in the CD recording of Gorko by Hans Riphagen and solo parts in works by J.S. Bach and Alessandro Scarlatti at the Pacific Music Festival in Sapporo, Japan. She has performed with the Haags Barokgezelschap in several cantata services and concerts.
