The English tenor, James Oxley, received his training at The Royal College of Music in London.
A versatile performer, James Oxley has sung the principal roles in operas by Mozart, Tchaikovsky, Strauss and Brit ten. He also sings liturgical music and oratorios from the Baroque period. In June 2004 he performed the role of the Evangelist in J.S. Bach’s Matthäus-Passion (BWV 244) conducted by Hermann Max at the Israel Festival Jerusalem.
