Pál Németh (Conductor, Flute)

Born: Hungary

The Hungarian flautist and conductor, Pál Németh, graduated from the Liszt Ferenc Academy of music as a flautist in 1972 and as a conductor in 1975. He studied under Henrik Pröhle, József Maklári and Zoltán Vásárhelyi.

Since 1975 he has taught at the Szombathely Secondary School of Music. Németh has been the musical director of Capella Savaria, since he founded the ensmble in 1981. He plays the flute and harpsichord in addition to conducting the ensemble.
