The bass-baritone, Nikolaus Hillebrand, started to sing publicly as one of the ‘Dome sparrows’ of Regensburg (the famed Regensburger Domspatzen children’s choir), and sang his first solo as a boy (role of Genii) in a Georg Solti production of The Magic Flute. |
