Annie Hermes (Contralto)

Born: 1906 - Haarlem, the Netherlands
Died: 1995

The Dutch contralto, Annie Hermes, received her singing-training at the Amsterdam Conservatory.

Very soon after her debut, Annie Hermes had already success with her beautiful and exceptionally well-balanced voice. She limited her repertoire to concert-performances and oratorio and made part of 'Felix de Nobel's Kamerkoor' (Chamber Choir of Felix de Nobel) together with a.o. Ans Stroink, Jo van de Meent and Roos Boelsma.
