He studied voice and music education in his native city of Munich and amplified his training as a member of the studio at the Bavarian State Opera, where he sang such roles as Figaro in Le nozze di Figaro and Guglielmo in Così fan tutte. Concurrently Gerald Häussler recorded recital repertoire, for Radio Bavaria, Radio Nice and other stations.
