Youra Guller (Piano)

Born: 1895 - Paris, France
Died: 1980

The French pianist, Youra Guller, was a child of Russian-Romanian parentage. She began piano studies at the age of 5. She performed in recitals and then enrolled at the Paris Conservatory at the age of 9. It was there that she worked with Philipp.

Around World War II, a period of illness forced Youra Guller to slow down. By the 1960's, she had resumed performing, making her New York debut in 1971.
