Elisabeth Esch (Soprano)

Born: Mönchengladbach, Germany

The German soprano, Elisabeth Esch, completed successfully her first degree in church music in Düsseldorf. There, she also received her first vocal training with Professor Ingeborg Reichelt. Then she studied singing with Professor Theo Lindenbaum, with Professor Ingrid Bettag and Professor Margit Kobeck.

Elisabeth Esch has sung in concerts at home and abroad. Her repertoire includes oratorio and Lieder and extends from the Baroque to 20^th century. she sang the First Lady in Mozart's Zauberflöte and at the Chiemgau Festival and George Frideric Handel's Messiah and Orff's Carmina Burana at the Philharmonie Berlin. Besides her concert activities she is a singing teacher and vocal trainer in choirs.
