The American bartitone, Jean Bernard Cerin, has a Masterís Degree in Vocal Performance from the New England Conservatory of Music and is pursuing a Doctorate in Voice at the University of Michigan.
Jean Bernard Cerin, is an avid recitalist, church musician, and opera singer, His performance credits include music ranging from traditional and contemporary religious to opera, art song, and musical theater. He has performed throughout the USA, in Haiti, France, and Austria. He has appeared with the Aspen Opera Theater Center, Center City Opera, Boston Opera Collaborative, the Brevard Music Festivalís Janiec Opera Company, and The New England Conservatory Opera Theater.
Equally at home on the concert and recital platforms, Jean Bernard Cerin has sung in the Bach Festival of Philadelphia, at Carnegie Hall with the Marilyn Horne Foundationís Song Continues Festival, and most recently at the Kennedy Center as part of the Conservatory Project.
Jean Bernard Cerin is a third generation church musician. He loves the Lord and is passionate about leading others in worship. hE serves on the music staff of Ann Arbor Christian Reform Church. He serves as Lecturer in Voice at Lincoln University of Pennsylvania. He currently lives in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
