Russell Burgess (Choral Conductor, Bass)

Born: 1931 - London, England

The English choral conductor, bass singer and teacher, Russell Brian Burgess, studied at Leyton Grammar School and the Royal Academy of Music in London.

Since 1954 Russell Burgess was Director of Music at Wandsworth School. Since 1965 he was Assistant Chorus Master of the New Philharmonia Chorus. Specialities: organ, conducting, piano-forte, singing. Hobbies: cricket, badminton.
