Alla Ablaberdyeva (Soprano)

Born: May 7, 1953 - Russia

The Russian soprano, Alla Ablaberdyeva, graduated from the Moscow Conservatoire where she studied under Nina Dorliak. She was a winner of the All-Union Glinka and other international competitions.

Her primary repertoire is chamber music. Alla Ablaberdyeva became a soloist with the Moscow Philharmonic Society and appeared regularly in Moscow and Leningrad, as well as toured the USSR, Czech Republic, Hungary, Cuba, Sweden, and France. She relocated to London in 1991.

Alla Ablaberdyeva's recordings include Igor Stravinsky's Les Noces; cantatas by Giovanni Battista Pergolesi and Antonio Vivaldi; recital of J.S. Bach, Purcell & George Frideric Handel; recital of G.B. Pergolesi & A. Vivaldi; and art songs by Russian composers for the Melodiya label.
