Many Voices … One Song is a non-profit arts organization located in the Metro-Detroit area whose mission is to build community by sharing outstanding musical experiences. They believe music is a powerful force through which people of all nationalities, creeds, sexual orientations, and economic circumstances can join together in peace, understanding, and friendship. They seek to enable this through our diverse and innovative programming, which they continue to provide annually and free of charge to the community.
Each year they offer a wide variety of outstanding programs presented by our resident choral ensemble, Sounding Light, which are led by their Music Director Tom Trenney and performed across the metro Detroit area in front of increasingly diverse audiences. They offer all of our events free of charge to the community.
Many Voices… One Song boasts a dedicated group of volunteers who serve many functions: as Board Members, housing coordinators, transportation and logistics providers, venue liaison, reception and hospitality, community outreach, development, and all the many functions necessary to keep a small non-profit arts organization humming. |
