The Solo Cantata BWV 52 "Falsche Welt, dir trau ich nicht!" (False world, I do not trust you!) was composed by J.S. Bach for a the 23rd Sunday after Trinity and was first performed on November 24, 1726 in Leipzig. This cantata is scored for soprano; 4-part Chorus (for the final chorale); and orchestra of 2 horns, 3 oboes, bassoon, 2 violins, viola, organ, continuo.
