Paul [Paulus] Stockmann was a German magister, field and ship preacher, and senior officer. He served as pastor and senior officer in Lützen. In 1632 he took part in the Battle of Lützen. Later he served as field and ship preacher of King Gustav Adolf of Sweden. He died in 1636 in the plague. He had two children: Ernst and Elisabeth. |

1. Some (Internet) sources (see links on the right side below) give the year of birth 1602. Documents of the Family Society Stockmann show that the year of birth is actually 1603. |
