UNI School of Music |
History & Mission: |
The Northern Iowa Bach Cantata Series is a collaboration among multiple divisions within the UNI School of music that features performances by students and faculty. Throughout the academic year, Cantorei prepares and performs Bach Cantatas with members of the Northern Iowa Symphony Orchestra and Wind Symphony for the UNI Community during a series of noontime concerts in the McElroy Lobby of the Gallagher Bluedorn Performing Arts Center. The NIBCS also provides opportunities for Graduate Students in Choral Conducting to prepare, rehearse, and conduct Bach Cantatas. |
