With the vision of Artistic Director Gerald Fagan, The Bach Music Festival of Canada held its inaugural 7-day celebration of the music and artistic influence of J.S. Bach, this past July 2011! Featuring regional, national and international musicians, the Bach Music Festival of Canada invited musicians and music lovers of every age, to join us for a week of concerts, workshops and master-classes.
Located in the heart of beautiful Ontario Canada, in the picturesque town of Exeter, Ontario just minutes away from the shores of Lake Huron, the Festival reflected the diverse and duynamic natural settings of the region’s water, rural and urban geography. Participants and audience shared in virtuouso performances of J.S. Bach and those he has influenced, including contemporary composers. |
