Cantatas, whose BWV (Number) is marked with brackets (), cannot be performed, because most or all of their music and/or text were lost.

Cantatas, whose BWV Number is coloured with green, were not composed by J.S. Bach. Look in the Index to the Recordings & Discussions of Non-Bach Cantatas.

Cantatas, whose BWV number is Bold, appear in the Order of Discussion, but have not been discussed yet. To see when a certain cantata is planned to be discussed, please look at the page Order of Discussion.

Works, whose BWV Number is coloured with Brown, are vocal works of J.S. Bach that are not cantatas. Look in the Index to the Recordings & Discussions of Bach’s Other Vocal Works.

Performer’s Name are coloured with Light Blue.
