The French mezzo-soprano, Maryseult Wieczorek, had studied the recorder and got also harpsichord training, before moving at age 17 to singing. She received lessons from Greta de Reyghere, William Christie, Jane Berbié, and Nicole Fallien. In April 1997, with Ensemble Amarillis, she won the 1st Prize and a fellowship from the French Ministry of Culture the FNAPEC Chamber music competition. |
