Walter W. Wade is a retired professor from Memphis, Tennessee who taught at the University of Memphis and Tennessee Tech University from 1955 to 1990. He was Director of Memphis State University Chorale, Memphis Oratorio Society and Memphis State University Madrigal Singers. He is the composer of several publications from Abingdon Press and other publishers. His work for Abingdon Press includes three selections in Rejoice, Give Thanks, and Praise (anthem collection).
