Nina Vinther (Mezzo-soprano)

Born: Harpenden, St Albans City district, Hertfordshire, England

The English and half-Danish mezzo-soprano, Nina Vinther, studied at St Albans High School for Girls (2010-2016; GCSE: 10A*s (FSMQ Maths), A2 level: 3A*s French, German, English (AS Geography)). Her activities and societies there: Head Girl. Leader of gospel choir and winning Paris House Song team 2015-2066. School play musician and performer. Volunteer at local Strathmore Lodge care home. Since 2016, she studies as Junior Scholar at University of Cambridge for MML degree in French, German, Dutch (expected graduation in 2020). Her activities and societies there: President of Sing Inside, Events Manager of Entente Cordiale, Publicity Officer of Trinity College Music Society. Member of Trinity College Choir of Cambridge (Director: Stephen Layton), Cadenza ('Cambridge's premier acapella group), King Henry's Eight. Trinity Women's hockey goalkeeper. Steward and performer at ADC theatre. Trombonist.
