Sweelinck Barokorkest (Baroque Orchestra)

Founded: Amsterdam, the Netherlands

The Sweelinck Barokorkest (Sweelinck Baroque Orchestra), is conducted by Teunis van der Zwart and consists of highly talented students from the Conservatorium of Amsterdam. They have been invited successfully many times in Buren.

Teunis van der Zwart is one of the leading horn players of his generation. In addition to an international career as a horn player to include the Orchestra of the 18th Century, he performs regularly as a soloist and conductor.
