Johannes D. Schendel (Baritone)

Born: 1975 - Germany

The German baritone, Johannes D. Schendel, studied at the Hochschule für Musik und darstellende Kunst in Frankfurt with Michael Schopper, Rainer Hoffmann (concert singings) and Charles Spencer (Lieder singing). In 1995 he received the 1st Prize at the Federal Competition for Young Musicians in the category of singing..

In recent years Johannes D. Schendel has been a soloist with various opera productions. His concert career has taken him to Austria, Holland and Italy. In 2001 he received a scholarship from the German Music Competition in Berlin.
