Roma Collegium Musicum (Baroque Ensemble)

Founded: Rome, Italy

Roma Collegium Musicum is an Italian Baroque ensemble, founded and directed by the organist and harpsichordist Marco Silvi. The ensemble pays special attention to philological performance practice, playing only on original instruments or copies of historical instruments. They perform music by Tomaso Albinoni, Arcangelo Corelli, J.S. Bach, Carl Philipp Emanuel Bach, E.F. Dall'Abaco, Antonio Vivaldi, George Frideric Handel and others.
