Oklahoma City University Early Music Ensemble (Early Music Instrumental Ensemble)

Founded: Oklahoima City, Oklahoma, USA

The Early Music Ensemble introduces students to period instruments and historical performance practices in music of the 17^th and 18^th centuries. The ensemble performs in an early music showcase each semester and has appeared in other university events including Christmas Vespers, OPERAtions, and student recitals. The group is led by harpsichordist Anastasia Abu Bakar, assisted by Baroque violinist Benjamin Shute.
