Margit Neubauer (Mezzo-soprano)

Born: 1951 (?) - Upper Austria

The mezzo-soprano Margit Neubauer was born in Upper Austria, where at the age of 16 she began her vocal studies. Two years later she went to Linz, where she continued to study at the Anton Bruckner Conservatory.

Margit Neubauer has sung in Oratorios and Masses. In 1971 she took part in the International Vocalist Concours, Holland and was awarded the ‘Prize of the German Federal Republic’. During the early 1970’s she participated in some of the Abu Gosh Festivals (Israel).
