Stefan Müller-Ruppert (Baritone)

Born: 1955 - Buchen im Odenwald, Germany

The German baritone, Stefan Müller-Ruppert, studied singing and opera school at the Musikhochschule Heidelberg-Mannheim. The U and the E music equally added, he played many years in professional band, the Euro Star Sextett from Lorsch, in which he participated as bass guitarist, singer and moderator.

Since 1991 Stefan Müller-Ruppert extended his field of activity toward theatres and participated in various operas - revue and musical productions. Extensive concert tours led him with the Gächinger Kantorei under Helmuth Rilling to Japan, Spain, Hungary and Czechoslovakia. Apart from his singing engagements, he is also an in demand speaker both for broadcast and CD productions and for concert performances, such as King David, Jeanne d'Arc by Arthur Honegger, H. Distler’s Totentanz, Platero and I (to the guitar music of C. Tedeso) or Don Quichotte with the Ludwigsburger Blechbläser Quintett (= LBQ). With the vocal quartet Principal, to which he likewise belongs, he has produced various CD's. Lately his emphasis lies also in working with his son Bastian, with whom he implements frequently successful literary-musical programme evenings.

With the LBQ a Stefan Müller-Ruppert has been active for many years, which flowed into Müller-Ruppert's co-operation with the latest CD brought by the ensemble in "Spanish moment".
