Johannes Moesus (Conductor)

Born: Germany

The German conductor, Johannes Moesus, studied at the colleges of music of Hannover, Frankfurt and Vienna with Karl Östereicher, Helmuth Rilling und Franco Ferrara.

Johannes Moesus began his career as a conductor in Frankfurt and Stuttgart. He is a guest conductor of renowned national and international orchestras. He made several CD's with the Hamburg Symphoniker. He co-operates regularly with broadcasting corporations in his homlenad and abroad. Since 1997 he is president of "Internationalen Rosetti-Gesellschaft e.V." and is an artistic director of the "Rosetti-Festtage im Ries " and acts as a publisher of note issues for this composer. He co-operates with the Orchester Göttinger Musikfreunde since March 2006.
