Maulbronner Kammerchor (Chamber Choir)

Founded: 1983 - Maulbronn, Baden-Württemberg, Germany

The Maulbronner Kammerchor (Maulbronn Chamber Choir) was founded in 1983 and is directed by Jürgen Budday.

The Choir won 1^st place at the Baden-Württemberg Choir Competition in 1989 and 1997, 2^nd place at the 3^rd German Choir Competition in Stuttgart in 1990, 1^st Prize at the 5^th German Choir Competition in Regensburg in 1998 and most recently a 2^nd Prize in achievement level I "internationally excellent" together with a conducter's prize for the best interpretation of a sacred work at the 11^th International Chamber Choir Competition in Marktoberdorf - these awards show the extraordinary musical calibre of this ensemble.
