Maulbronner Kammerchor (Chamber Choir)

Founded: 1983 - Maulbronn, Baden-Württemberg, Germany

The Maulbronner Kammerchor (Maulbronn Chamber Choir) was founded in 1983 and is directed by Jürgen Budday.

The Choir won 1st place at the Baden-Württemberg Choir Competition in 1989 and 1997, 2nd place at the 3rd German Choir Competition in Stuttgart in 1990, 1st Prize at the 5th German Choir Competition in Regensburg in 1998 and most recently a 2nd Prize in achievement level I "internationally excellent" together with a conducter's prize for the best interpretation of a sacred work at the 11th International Chamber Choir Competition in Marktoberdorf - these awards show the extraordinary musical calibre of this ensemble.
