Steve Larson (Piano)

Born: USA

The American classical pianist, Steve Larson, has performed on five continents as soloist and collaborator with other artists. His repertoire is all-encompassing, ranging from J.S. Bach to Pierre Boulez and includes the complete Well-Tempered Clavier of J.S. Bach, the 32 Sonatas of L.v. Beethoven, most of the works of Franz Liszt and such historical monuments as the Goldberg Variations (BWV 988), the Hammerklavier and the Concord Sonata.

Steve Larson is author of the technical manual Extreme Pianism. He is married to classical singer Markella Hatziano. They have one daughter, violinist Alexandra Larson.
